A little bit about me......

Bowen Photography is located in Tri-Cities, Tennessee, but available to Virginia, N.Carolina, Kentucky, Georgia & Florida.

I am a wife, a mother and an award winning photographer. I am a lighthearted person that doesn't take myself too seriously. I have fun when I shoot - so plan on having a good time working with me. I like to get to know you before I begin so that your true personality comes through in your photographs. I have an affinity for the more candid, photojournalistic style, but I recognize there are many styles today that have a place in our homes and businesses.

I am proud to announce my affiliation with a wonderful organization, Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep. This group was founded out of love and the need to aid families during a difficult time, the loss of their child. Professional photographers remain on call to provide gentle and beautiful photography services at no charge, in a compassionate and sensitive manner. I serve as a volunteer photographer with NILMDTS. My slogan - Vision, Passion, Drive.

The three words I would choose to describe who I am as a photographer. Vision for my work, Passion for the craft and Drive for my desire to express myself in this visual medium.

Vision: Fresh imagery with an artistic flair, I have developed a style that is unique and fresh. The diversity of my background has made me a stronger photographer with a unique vision, and I deliver on that vision with each and every client.

Passion: I have described my devotion to photography as a “fire that burns in my soul” there is no other way to describe it, after years of photography, I have found ways to satisfy that hunger and I bring the sum of my passion to all of my work.

Drive: being driven from within is one of the ways I feed that inner passion, I show up early and ready, I communicate with my clients, and my clients can depend on me to deliver solid results. Whether it is a small family shoot or a wedding with 300 guests, I will bring my Vision, my Passion and my Drive.

I am a member of The Professional Photographers of America, The American Society of Media Photographers and International Society for Aviation Photography. These associations allow me to continue to grow my craft by allowing me access to the constantly changing technology and the ability to call upon the combined wisdom and vision of decades of photography knowledge.
